NRA Certified Range Safety Officer

The Range Safety Officer (RSO) course consists of: Range Safety Officer's roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings which include emergency procedures. Candidates must also receive 90 percent or better on the written exam. NRA Range Safety Officers must be 21 years of age or older. The Range Safety
Officer course is a nine-hour course that
consists of classroom
time only. Range Safety Officer candidates
will receive the RSO Student Packet.

USCCA Concealed Carry Course
Course Completion Certificate Can be Taken to Your County’s Sheriff’s Office to Apply for Your CO Concealed Carry Permit.
Noon-4 PM - Classroom: Self-Defense Firearm Basics, Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan, The Legal Use of Force, Violent Encounters and their Aftermath, Gear and Gadgets, Advanced Skills.
4-5 PM - Range: Shooting Assessment

Classroom consists of an introduction to Shotgun Safety, Parts, and Operation, Ammunition, the Fundamentals of Shotgun Shooting, Cleaning, Storage, and Training Opportunities. Live Fire Exercise consists of shooting at straight-away targets.
Students will receive the NRA's Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook as well as course certificate. Open to adults and children 12 & up. All minors (under 18) need to be accompanied by an adult.

NRA Personal Protection in the Home
Prerequisite: Participants must produce a Basic Pistol Course Certificate or pass a pre-course assessment.
This is an eight-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition and learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive The Basics of Personal Protection In The Home handbook and course completion certificate. Next class is June 11, 2017

NRA Basic Pistol - Phase 2
You will learn Firearm and Range Safety, Fundamentals of Shooting, Pistol Operation and Maintenance and Benchrest and Isosceles Shooting Positions. Includes Live-Fire Shooting Qualification on the range. This is Phase 2 of the NEW Blended Learning Class. To take this course you must have completed the basics of pistol shooting Phase 1 online (available at https://onlinetraining.nra.org/). Upon successful completion of Phase 1, your Personal Identification Number (PIN) is activated. You must have that PIN to sign up for this course.
