This Firearm Safety Course is a state-certified training program designed to satisfy the education requirement established by Colorado Senate Bill 25-003 that went into effect 8/1/26. Under this law, Colorado residents must successfully complete an approved firearm safety course before purchasing or transferring specified semiautomatic firearms (SSF), including semiautomatic rifles, shotguns and pistols with detachable magazines and gas-operated semiautomatic handguns.
