04/18/26 NRA Certified Pistol Instructor Course

*Prerequisites: Successful completion of the NRA's Basic Pistol Shooting course and Basic Instructor Training (BIT) in the last 2 years. 

Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills. Candidates complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in assessment exercises.

This course is one day only and teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA's Basic Pistol Shooting course.

Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course with evaluations and complete a written examination. Students will receive the NRA Pistol Shooting Instructor Candidate Packet.

Cost: $275 - includes all materials and range fee. (Does not include BIT). Course fee is due in full by 4/13/26 or at time of registration if later than 4/13/26.
