*Prerequisites: Must be a current NRA Range Safety Officer and have taken Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within the last 2 years.
This course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to training and certifying NRA range safety officers and developing range standard operating procedures.
Course includes: standard operating procedures, range inspections, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, safety briefings. Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills through participation in practical exercises and complete an open book exam.
Cost: $200 - includes all materials (does not include BIT). Course fee is due in full by 07/13/26 or at time of registration if later than 07/13/26.
