09/07/24 NRA Basic CCW (for Instructor Candidates ONLY)

*This class for NRA CCW Instructor Candidates ONLY.

This NRA Basic CCW course includes both classroom and range time. The classroom lessons are: Firearm Safety, Basic Defensive Pistol Skills and Drawing from Concealment. Range drills will cover accuracy, firing multiple rounds, emergency reloads, shooting one-handed, and shooting from a distance of 15 yards.

All Instructor Candidates will receive two handbooks: NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting and NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home.

Candidates who successfully pass both a written exam and shooting qualification will receive an NRA Basic CCW Certificate of Completion and be eligible to take the NRA CCW Instructor Course.

Cost: $150 - includes all materials and range fee. Course fee is due in full by 9/4/24 or at time of registration if later than 9/4/24.
